I used an LED flashlight stuck in a bush to illuminate the pergola. The flashlight washed the wood gray but adds a certain eeriness to the picture. I think.
What were you shooting on? What time? Moon? I shot at 3200 iso, M, WB:sunny, smallest F that I could and 30 sec. My Cathedral was about 9pm and I think there was no moon (new moon). Teapot was same settings but more like 10:30 at night and a quarter moon had just gone down. Your milky way showed up a lot better than both mine.
Thought I'd posted this before. D'oh! I was shooting ISO 3200, 30 sec exposure, on a tripod, f3.5, 30 second shutter delay so I could move away from the camera, I think it was 8:30 P and really really dark.
Awesome! Love it! I think I prefer number 2 pict with the gazebo lit up.
ReplyDeleteAnd so cool to see the Vegas lights!
