You don’t take a photograph, you make it. –Ansel Adams

This is the perpetual watering hole in our back yard for creatures, be they on wing, foot (paw?) or whatever. Sure would like to devise a method to setup a motion-triggered day/night camera. A "game" camera might work, but their resolution is medicore at best, and the night photos are poor. Any ideas? Tried a bit of HDR on this photo (three images merged), but it appears to be with mixed success.

I Got Nothing of Tiny Things

So here are a few more pics from Montana that I didn't include on facebook...

This is far from tiny, but found this interesing rock in a remote canyon today, actually a side canyon to Condor. Does anyone possibly know the story behind this?

Naturally Tiny Things

It's a small world. This little bee was methodically visiting every clover blossom. Amazing what a person will observe just laying in the grass for a spell.

Chutes and Ladders as Parallel Lines...with Kid

My granddaughter loves slides.
I once spent 2 hours watching her as she went up the ladders and down the slides.
Dang near wore me out it did.

The Opposite of Sunset

A case where looking back from a spectacular sunset was actually more impressive than the sunset itself. Looking East while perched above Eagle Valley after a little off-roading. The sky was more impressive than the horizon.
