Simplicity around home

I was trying to capture the mood of simple pleasures around home. Relaxing on the front porch is a simple pleasure to me!

Simplicity

Camera "crashed"

Digital photography, and all the electronic magic within a camera is wonderful, but when it quits, it REALLY quits! My primary camera gave up the ghost, so off to the repair facility for what will probably be an expensive repair. A Canon, so all you Nikon shooters please go easy on me...

Pure simplicity

Onw of the first things that comes to mind when contemplating the word "simplicity" is laying on your backside watching the clouds drift by, oblivious to ones surroundings.

Union for life

Canadian Geese are monogamous, they form a union for life. This pair, whom we dubbed Lucy and Larry, frequented our back yard for quite a spell, but have not been seen as of late.

These mushrooms reminded me of life and how it is so nice to have someone to lean on.

Crazy Summer

Sorry I have been MIA all summer. It has been a crazy summer. I have enjoyed all the pics everyone has posted.

For me summer always means a trip to Lake Powell.

Without these circles, we would be out of business! Well, there is always a "pinhole" camera, this phenonema known since the 5th century B.C. (They didn't have cameras then obviously, but knew about the characteristics of light through a pinhole)
