Camera "crashed"
Digital photography, and all the electronic magic within a camera is wonderful, but when it quits, it REALLY quits! My primary camera gave up the ghost, so off to the repair facility for what will probably be an expensive repair. A Canon, so all you Nikon shooters please go easy on me...

I am glad that you were able to get in these two assignments before it died on you, Jim! that is what I always liked about my Pentax K-1000 "manual" 35 cc camera - the only thing "automatic" about it was the light meter, and if the battery went out, I understand enough about f-stops, etc., that I could bracket exposures and still get a shot!
ReplyDelete$200 later, and as good as new (hopefully!) They replaced a part, something to do with the "mirror cam." Not that many clicks on it, so I am inclined to believe a design or manufacturing defect, as others have reported the same issue.
