Nature's gift to Man

Albeit the opposable thumb began the evolutionary process eons ago, the modern version is unique to very few lifeforms on this earth. Think about it, what one cannot do if deprived of this very useful feature of our organism.

  1. So, why'd you reverse the photo? Nobody writes left-handed. Trust you to think hard science on us. Sheesh!

  2. Think about this, Randal - it was easier for Jim to try to write left-handed, than to take the photo with his left hand! I developed the ability to paint left-handed so that I could demonstrate techniques for my leftie students; and the girl that I am tutoring in Drawing is also a leftie, so I am learning to draw left-handed... Cool shot, Jim!

  5. It's a wonderful shot. Reminds me of Albrecht Durer's woodcut. Very nice.
