1 of my favs.

This is one of my favorite picts I've done. It was done in my kitchen using ambient lighting with my first digital camera.

Feb assignments

This month for assignments, just for Jim, I thought we would try the theme of "anything goes". So shoot away. And post away. I'll get thinking for some assignments for March. For now, enjoy the freedom of ...whatever.

Detail from Kislovodsk

This is hand-painted porcelain detail from Kislovodsk, Russia.

Detail of labor and skill

This, I am told, is "tatting." An annual Christmas present in different variants to Anna Rae from a very dear friend in Alamo, Ellen Spencer.

Rusty Metal

Working, 24/7

My computer is never turned off, and always runs at 100% in the background for the benefit of science. The image was handheld at 1/10th, should have used a short tripod.

Took some Work to build this, and it is made of Metal!

Traveled the old highway from Mesquite to Beaver Dam and beyond yesterday. This is one narrow bridge! Anna Rae recalls "I was terrified I would meet a truck on this bridge!"
