This is the perpetual watering hole in our back yard for creatures, be they on wing, foot (paw?) or whatever. Sure would like to devise a method to setup a motion-triggered day/night camera. A "game" camera might work, but their resolution is medicore at best, and the night photos are poor. Any ideas? Tried a bit of HDR on this photo (three images merged), but it appears to be with mixed success.
Wish I had an easy answer for a motion-triggered system. I think you'd like the results.

I agree with Randal! The little bits of sky reflecting in the dark puddle are great!
