Practiced a bit of old school photography on this. 100% manual settings. f 8.0, 1/30 sec., ISO 2000 (amazing!). Even manual focus. However, I will confess to using the in-camera light meter.
Can you do manual settings with a digital camera? Mine is just a point & shoot... but maybe with your more expensive camera, you have those options! Love the colors in this, against the plain background!
Well one, Jim! Did you really need ISO 2000, or were you just trying it out?
Barb, it depends on the P&S. Some of them give you the option of manual, and some don't. My last P&S (a Canon A590IS) did, and it wasn't that expensive. About $250 or so if I remember correctly.
Very nice! I like the colors and the composition. Your old fashioned approach is something I want to try!
