This is a "Monkeywood" table that my husband refinished for a friend; I wish I had taken some "before" shots because it was in rough shape. Merlin removed a very thick layer of varnish, sanded it down smooth, and built the little stabilizers for each side of the legs (which had originally been bolted to a piece of plywood, then bolted to the underside). Can you just "feel" how smooth this wood is, by looking at it??
VERY hefty... glad I wore my back-brace to help Merlin load it into the Expedition! It filled the "bed" with just inches to spare. Bob Rollins was absolutely amazed at the transformation in his 35-year old table!
