Cast a giant shadow

Don't know if this is appropriate for the topic this week, but could not resist this grab shot taken just a few minutes ago on the entrance road to the CYC. Goes to show it pays to pack a camera wherever one travels. This critter was warming in the bright sun, and probably thinking about locating some carrion to snack on.

  2. To confess, the photo is cropped a bit, but not much. Only had my point & shoot along, and took it from the car window. If I had exited the vehicle, surely it would have taken flight.
