This is the only sign of Spring I could find in Panaca! As we know the passing through of migrating Turkey Vultures (or Turkey Buzzard, i.e. Cathartes aura) signifies warm weather is soon to arrive.
A tech note, this photo was razor sharp in the original (JPEG & RAW) images, but working with the JPEG it lost some resolution, and all I did was crop it down a bit and bring up the brightness a tad. Made a believer out of me, any modification to a JPEG image, and subsequent save, will degrade the quality.

Love it! I enjoyed seeing that when I got home from Winnemucca/Elko, last evening, and snapped a half-dozen photos to savor the moment!
ReplyDeleteI like how half the birds decided on cue to fly and the other half to sit still. You have amazing control of the animals Dr. Dolittle!
