I am intrigued by the mouse. It seems to be holding the twig like a lily. Is that a road runner? I've never seen one up close. And the face is just a little creepy, even in day light.
The mouse is holding a dead flower stem - which I placed it its little paws after taking two previous photos! Yep, that's a roadrunner... the previous photo in this sequence showed the yellow line of the road, but I wanted a closeup. I am glad you could pick out the face - it just stood out, to me!
