What denomination bill is this from?

I suspect this will be easy, but not from a commonly circulated currency.

  1. Whatever denomination it is, I am unfamiliar with it! Nice closeup!

  4. That was my guess too but mostly because you said it wasn't common.

  5. I knew what it was because I have collected them on and off for a long time--have some silver certificates, too, that are kind of cool to find the 'differences' on from the bills that were made later. Fun, idea!

  6. Now tell us the history behind the depictions and explain the symbolism. LOL I knew what this was, too, because I've been keeping one for each of my kids since long before they were born. Clever and unexpected, Jim.

  7. Oh, I may have some of those tucked somewhere around the house. I also saved some of the Sacajawea gold dollars when they came out. That would also make an interesting closeup!
