Danged! We need to be able to delete comments without a trace! Just a typo, but no way to edit or completely delete. My comment was the vignetting sure adds the right touch to make the photo representative of times past.
Thanks! I thought I was going to miss out on the B & W assignment, and then figured out that I could use my graphics program to remove the color, fade the edges, and save as a jpeg to post here. The only downside is that when I resize the photo (as I did here, to cut some of the extraneous background), saving it as a jpeg included the extra white space around the photo itself. Oh well, at least I didn't miss out on the assignment!
