Oh, how did you get so close to the quail?? I love this photo, especially knowing how skittish they can be!
I was yard saling one saturday & they came out of the bushes in someone's yard! I grabbed a camera and clicked as fast as possible (not great quality) but it was so cute to see little birdies following their mommy!!
I love the little one at the far left, bottom corner, going the other direction... always one in the crowd! This was a great "catch," Jamie!
