  1. Steffanie asked me to try this window, with a single milk bottle. Hmmm. I don't like the background... the truck that you can see just left of the bottle. And I may try some different objects in the window.

  2. Its getting better barb. You are on the right track. How about taking down the hanging sunflowers and centering the bottle? Also, can you shoot from a little higher so the whole window is bright? Do you know how to blur the background? that would eliminate the distracting objects behind. Looking better.

I can't blur the background with this fixed-lens digital camera; that is why I miss my 35 mm camera soooo much - I COULD do that with it... this camera also tries to fill in with a flash, whether I want it or not. Will take down the sunflowers stained glass, and try some more... I've been hoping for a gorgeous sunset the past few evenings (with the clouds), but each evening has fizzled... Maybe I'd do better to paint what my vision of this window would be!
