On to vehicles!

  1. Most Lincoln County folks know where this vehicle is...one of my favorite get-away areas, Hackett and beyond.

  2. Oh my goodness, Jim, I haven't been out there for years! Maybe when the snow melts... I'm so glad you're doing the blog, and I really miss our "technical" chats. I'm shooting exclusively in RAW now based on the class I'm taking. The ease of processing is something else.

  3. Yes, I do both RAW and JPEG for everything. Takes a large card in the camera, but easy enough to delete what one does not wish to keep. Bought any more lenses lately? I am coveting a newly released Canon 100mm macro with IS. Possibly when our tax refund arrives.... What class? The only one I have ever taken was disappointing, as it was too much orientated towards creativity using Photoshop instead of the nuts and bolts of photography. I am more more of a "as is" photographer. What you see is what you get.

  4. Lisa, speaking of technical questions, I have one. Don't remember if you are a Nikon or Canon person, but in regard to RAW photos, do you have to convert them before importing into Photoshop? I have PS3, and it will not directly import my Canon RAW images. Possibly PS4? Oh, don't tell me that! More $$$ !! Ha Ha!

  5. This has been one of my favorite cars, Jim - I have an almost identical shot, but with the poem that had been on the car for a few years. It always broke my heart, the story behind that car...
