I am very excited to be starting this photography group. I hope it proves to be an educational experience. Lets remember that we are all at different levels of skill and not to compare to each other, rather compare to your own work and progress. I thought it would be fun to share my first photography experience...I was in elementary school on a field trip to some sort of power station. The tour guide was showing us dead caucuses of birds who had run into the wires. I thought it was magnificent to take pictures of these rotting birds. I felt like a wildlife photographer! LOL. I wish I would have realized my passion back then so that I could have pursued more education during my high school and college career.
