You don’t take a photograph, you make it. –Ansel Adams

1- I love driving big equipment.
2- Stepping on the scale has become a habit. Every time I leave the bathroom I step on and sometimes I don't even check to see what it says.
3- The salon--I spend lots of time in there!
This was a major challenge! I can't believe how hard it is to take a picture of yourself...at least for me! Okay, okay, I didn't take the picture of me driving the loader but the other two were a challenge (and the 200 others that didn't get posted)!

  1. No Way! You are really driving that big...machinery thingy? Awesome! Did you take the scale at night? or photoshop/tweek it? Regardless, I like it, looks really wacky. Very creative. And the mirror/mirror is fun, like a puzzle. Half your face here, half there, front of you here, back of you there. Nice job. :)

  2. Very interesting facts about you...especially the loader one. Now I have a new thing to add to my bucket list. That definately seems fun!

  3. Oh, Shawn... "bucket list" with a front-end loader?? booooo... Seriously, Kathi, the self-portrait is awesome! That is a great angle to get your face showing in the mirror, in the big mirror! Awesome work!

  4. Hey, don't knock the heavy equipment. I LOVE messing around with a backhoe, and when I win the lottery I'm going to buy a bobcat-those little suckers are useful!

These are fab, Kathi. Creative and very depictive of who you are.

  5. Mirrors are fun--it's always neat to catch something from lots of angles--I haven't done the loader, but agree with Lisa that I am pretty fond of the back-hoe--got to use it quite a bit when we were building, but I am a farm kid so tractors and stuff have always been fun for me--I like the coloring on it, alot, too. THe scale pic is kind of eery--almost space-like--and I would have had to photoshop the numbers before I dared put something like that on there ;) mine are a bit higher, though. Fun pic's Kathi!!

  6. I have worked for a heavy equipment company for 18 years and have never even been on a piece of equipment. I am always behind a desk. Seeing your picture just made me want to give it a try.
