Lights

This was 3 images combined ranging from 2.5 to 8 second exposure. Taken at f/16. Combined using hdr software photomatix.

Single exposure of 10 seconds. ISO 100 and f/16 .

  1. Adam, please tell me/the group what HDR software is? What are the capabilities? Ouch, everytime I see something new like this, it hits me in the pocketbook! I am rapidly learning why there is software out there to ascertain if a photograph is original, not altered or a composite, especially for photographs used as evidence in court.

  3. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. Basically what you do is take a picture using exposure bracketing. In this picture I used +2, -2, and the regular exposure. I use software called photomatix to combine these images. There is a great website www.stuckinscustoms.com/hdr-tutorial/ that does a wonderful job of describing how it all works.
