Adam, you are providing the motivation I need! As soon as the weather warms and the small creatures are out, I sure want to explore this area of photography. Something else I would like to do is an unattended camera in the woods, say by a watering hole. However such cameras for sale are expensive for what one gets, and cheaply made, unless you have some pointers?
Thanks Jim, The bee happened to be in my front yard last year and hung around just long enough for a couple of pics. The unattended camera could be a lot of fun. There is a fox near my house that I have only managed to catch once on camera. I will have to look more into something like that.
They are both neat--especially the bee, because like Shawn, I am not usually willing to get close enough to ever see them with such clarity and detail.

ReplyDeleteGreat clarity in the picture of the bee. I would have been to worried about it stinging me to get that close.

ReplyDeleteBee-utiful! Love the rich colors and the depth of the textures! That bee looks so soft and fuzzy!
ReplyDeleteYes, the bee was in such perfect focus, and the hairs stood out so well! Perfect lighting! The bug in the bark is also great!
ReplyDeleteThe bee is the bee's knees!
